MURUGAN SIVALINGAM

Mr.Murugan Sivalingam is an educationist. He is a well known literary figure
in the Tamil literary field. He has written a good number of books. His poems, political
essays, Novels and short stories are being published in National papers , magazines
and periodicals. He too an artist , acted in stage dramas and Tamil films and worked
as an assistant director to “Puthiya kaatru” a Tamil film produced in 1975. Mr.Sivalingam
hails from Plantation Community. |
Siva is an all rounder as journalist, trade unionist, politician, and educationist.
He is a good orator, professionally he had been a sub editor at Virakesari Tamil
news paper in Sri Lanka. and had been a teacher in the Government school. He involved
in politics and served as a Counselor and Deputy Chairman in the Central Provincial
Council. At present,he is engaged in social and literary works.
